Andrea Williams

University of Toronto
Associate Professor, Teaching Stream
Toronto, Canada
I've been leading Writing-Integrated Teaching (WIT), a Writing Across the Curriculum/Writing in the Disciplines program in the Faculty of Arts & Science at the University of Toronto for the last decade (yikes--it's flown by) and starting July 1st will be directing the Writing and Rhetoric program at Innis College where I am developing a new course on environmental writing and rhetoric. Having worked in WAC/WID for so long, I'm interested in assignment design and writing an article about assignments where I'm exploring them as a teaching genre that has been largely ignored (teaching philosophy statments get all the glory :)). In my spare time (hah!) I've been developing a dabase called Assignments Across Disciplines (AAD).
